ELK-M1RB hooking up with garage door switch

I ran a Cat5 cable from the ELK-M1RB to the Garage door switch and I don't see the light blinking on the ELK-M1RB board. I can use the ELK-M1RB output to open/close the garage door but the ELK-M1RB board light does not blink? Does it not have a enough power?

The M1RB lights do not blink. They are on when the relay is active, and off when the relay is inactive.
