Elk zone types

I'm trying to find an Elk zone definition that will log in the event log, but not send alarm communication events. Aux 1/2 24 Hour will both log and send communicator reports, but No Alarm will neither log nor send communicator reports. I need something in between

Have you tried to set the RC's for Aux 1/2 to 00 so they don't report?

Ah, good idea. Hadn't thought of that I'm not very familiar with the zone reporting stuff, so I'll have to poke around some. Thanks!

If I understand this correctly, assigning those zones to a different area may also do what you wish. I know somebody mentioned using a second area when they wanted to log some sensors in the Elk log.

Best bet is to turn off the Communicator reporting code by setting it to 00 as stated above by rfdesq.
