I've ran into a funny issue (well ... not so funny, since it compromises the integrity of my perimeter security):
I used to have a rule in HomeSeer that auto armed my Elk to stay mode whenever someone came home, disarmed the panel during an entry delay ... it is just a nice feature that make sure that the alarm is always armed.
The only reason why I did it in HS was that I hadn't really used the rules in Elk yet. Wanting to make the action more bullet proof, I disabled the event in HS and set up a rule through ElkRP for my M1 (fw 5.1.4). I have attached the rule ... but the problem I'm having is that instead of arming the system as usual, it places the garage door in bypass mode and even after it's closed it doesn't secure.
I have my garage door set as Burglar/Exit 2 and force armable, which lets me arm the system with the door open, spend as much time as I want exiting the garage (ignoring the exit timer) and once the garage door closes it secures the zone. This has worked fine with the HS rule, and works fine if I try it manually. Now, when I enter my code, it disarms, then arms in stay, but with the garage door bypassed. Since it's force armable that would've worked fine if it released the bypass once the door was secure .. but that doesn't happen.
Anyone else run into this?
