Ethernet Adapter PRoblems

I am about to blow my brains out trying to figure this out. My ELK-M1XEP is set at 192.168.1.3. I have opened ports 2101, 2601, 80, 26 all to that ip addres. I am easily able to connect to the M1 via ElkRP. The problem is connecting to the web version. I type in 192.168.1.3 and am greeted with the login and password which brings up the panel, then I either get an hour glass forever, or the panel with all the buttons but an hour glass. I have made all the changes in my globals for the correct baud rate, and reporting on serial port, I have checked my serial port cable to ensure a tight fit, I have tried this on two different pcs with firefox and ie, I have updated java to the latest version, and I even sent the M1EXP in for service and had it returned to me today. I have made sure my areas and keypads don't start with a space, I have even prayed to several gods. All to no avail. I ran a debugger on the java console and even cleared the cache. The only thing I can see was one error in the console:
network: Version checking for XEP233.jar, specified version is 0.0.0.2
network: Cache entry found [url: http://192.168.1.2/XEP233.jar, version: 0.0.0.2]
network: Cache entry not found [url: http://192.168.1.2/XEP233.jar, version: null]

I don't know if it even means anything, but I thought I would mention it. Somebody please help me, I am about to jump...

Ever get this working.... my first question would have been does it work properly within your local network vs. from the internet....

Yes I did get it working thanks for asking. It was a combination of updating the router, and and getting tech support from the good people at Elk.

I'm having the exact same problem. I can get to the M1XEP via ELKRP and I can get to the web server as far as the request for user code but once I enter the user code and press connect it just goes into it's "thinking" state. Can Spanky or somebody else post the fix or what should be considered?

Thanks,
Allen

Are there any spaces in the area name in the setup in rp? I was facing the same problem, and this fixed it, by removing the spaces.
