Is there a way to truncate or cut-off the remaining exit delay time once the Elk M1G confirms an exit event (an UNSECURE then SECURE of the same entry/exit zone)?
For example, I have an exit delay time of 45 seconds. I arm away and the exit delay countdown begins. I open door, exit, and close door within the first 15 seconds. At this point I would like the remaining available 30 seconds of exit countdown to be NONE and the exit delay expired. If I were to re-enter immediately (or violate any other entry/exit zone governed by the same delay timer) at this point, the ENTRY delay will be activated (rather than operating in the tail end of the unexpired exit delay, as the system does now).
This should not have any affect on Area Settings 05 (AutoStay No Exit), and should act as the opposite of 06 (Exit1TimeRestart) as far as the additional grace time feature is concerned.
Since there may be different uses for Exit Delay1 and Delay2, the exit delay truncate would be independent for each timer. (If garage car doors are on Delay 2, that timer should still be ticking even when Delay1 has been early-expired. Once the garage doors are secured after exiting, that delay could be set to truncate as well.)
My guess is the system ought to be able to do this or be easily implemented, since it truncates entry delay upon successful disarm.
