Expand ethernet outputs

I am looking to get a 24 port gigabit switch. I found two that seem good with power saving:

http://www.netgear.com/business/products/switches/smart-switches/smart-switches/GS724T-300.aspx#

I like that these are smart, engergy saving, and allow access to tweak controls (though not sure i will ever use). I was a little confused about the difference between the two. Does anyone know advantage of one over the other?

By the way, this is for basic networking. No server, but I will use one computer as a working computer and hope to access its files with other computers throughout (a sort of server). I eventually want to get IP cameras, and other POE devices, but since this is no time soon, I will deal with it later. I ran 5e and 6 cat wire throughout the house.

Thanks.

I don't see any real differences other than the SFP's .  There might be some features additional features on the GS724 but probably not any you'll need.   They both seem to have the same 48Gbps backplane capacity (very nice) and all gig ports, so they are likely based on the same hardware platform.  Unless you see a feature on one or the other that jumps out at you that you really want I would go for the cheaper one...
