Fibaro Z-Wave

I have been looking over home automation for the last couple of months and I think i'm getting closer to finding what hardware and software to use. It seems like it should be easy to define whats the "best" but it is all dependent on end user preference. Money as well, but that seems like a given. ^_^
In my search for information I ran across a company called Fibaro. It touts the idea of using existing switches and such and adding a "cheap" box that can make it z-wave capable. Has anyone here heard of this? If so, does anyone know what "cheap" is supposed to be? They have some information on their website but not much.

Interesting concept, because a lot of switches are chosen based on visual appeal, this could allow you to use any switch you want. But I don't know what language they are speaking in their wiring diagram there, not sure I completely understand what is going on...

Aeon Labs has a device which allows you to automate an existing light switch. It has been discussed here, plus I covered it during the 2010 CEDIA expo and I believe I also have it on video. It was also discussed on the forum, but I'll have to do some searching. The only concern was that it might not fit in the lightswitch box, but otherwise it looked pretty promising. I believe WinTop has a similar device in their catalog this year, but I couldn't find much info on it.

Fibaro box looks similar to Vesa 2. There is no price listed on their site. Does anyone know the cost?
Is there any limitation about Aeon Labs USB stick series 2? That looks pretty good. Its price is right at least.
