NewTech Infosystems, Inc. is offering a free download of their Shadow 3.7 Full Version Backup Application. They have a download for Windows and Apple OS X. It looks like the price is $29.99 normally...

It actually says "Trial" download.
I think by reading in-between the lines, that they are using their "trial" downloading mechanism, but the software should be the full version.

Hmmm, time to dust off some Gmail accounts though as I'm not using my real one for their registration process! :(

Has anyone used this software? This seems like a good find!

I went through the registration process (www.temporaryinbox.com) and downloaded the software, but it wants a serial number in order to install it, and none was provided. It made it sound like you could just install it, but I couldn't without this serial number, so I gave up.

I didn't try to install yet, but when I downloaded this morning, there were two files in the .zip, an exe and password file. . . ? Not in yours? I had a heck of a fight, couldn't get Firefox to download it, had to go back to IE.

Hmmm...I just downloaded it, didn't try to unpack it. I just added it to the stable of backup software I've accumulated over the years but never use.... I guess I should check that it works.

I've used it. It actually works pretty good, my one fault with it is it doesn't run as a service so it will only backup when someone is logged on.

This is from the download link.... still a little sceptical.
"After the installation, please click on the TRY MORE button to run the trial."

Aha! I didn't even notice the other file. (right there in front of my face). Thanks.
