Dave Howard is the developer of a Home Automation software known as PowerHome. You see his software at www.myx10.com It has been discussed recently on this board:

He has promised me that he would make every effort to attend the chat tonight between 2030 and 2100. Thats 8:30 to 9pm. From the short conversations that i have had with him he seems like a very decent person in general. So make sure all you guru's stop by and ask him everything you can.
BTW he has said that he is looking into supporting Z-wave. Money is the issue there. He isnt sure how much it will cost him to get a SDK. Hopefully not much.
