Front End Choices

Well I am at the point in my install where I am starting to consider at front end GUI. Over the past week or so there has been great debate over the pricing structure of CQC, but I am just looking for some general direction.

Here is a current setup of my functions:

Omni Pro II
3 HAI RC2000
Nuvo GC with tuner
JetStream
Future plans for UPB
HAI Door Strikes
DSC Smoke Detectors

I like the features of Automation Studio, but do not like the fact that I am locked in to their touch screens. I was able to talk to the OPII with a trial of MainLobby, but not sure if I like the feel. CQC seems rock solid, but may be overkill for my install. What is everyone else using out there and how is the programming learning curve?

JohnyNine's software, HomeSeer with HSTouch, NetRemote may be viable choices.

What about using the new 5.7e touch screens and design some cool screens with Automation Studio? You could also do that with the 10" wireless touch screens as well.
