GE/ITI 60-511-01-95 Motion detector

Hi,
I picked up a couple of these motion sensors and I'm a bit embarrased that I cannot fathom how to get them to work.
I've got the ELK M1XRF2G working with them. When I open up the case to the motion sensor and press the walk test switch, the red LED comes on. I close the case back up. If I put my hand in front of the motion sensor it picks it up and the RED LED comes on. I've registered it in the RP and the M1XRF2G flashes when I put my hand over the motion sensor. However, after a few minutes it will not pick up anything and the LED will not come on?!

I've answered my own question...I have tested and seen that you need to have 3 minutes elapse before the alarm will sound....seems pretty crazy to me....wish I could go with a wired setup but it will be too destructive...oh well.

I with the RM software had a way to tell the signal strength of the transmitters...am I missing something or can you only do this with the keypad?
