GE350CC smoke detector with Elk M1

Hello Forum Members
I am currently wiring the Elk system including 8 smoke detectors model GE350CC. They are daisy chained so that all detectors will sound the alarm if one of them detects smoke. My question is, is it possible that I could connect the M1 system to just one smoke detector and the M1 would receive an alarm signal no matter which detector triggered the alarm? I do not need to know which detector has triggered the alarm. My Elk system only needs to know if any of the 8 detector has detected smoke.
I thank you for your input.

Swap out one where you can get wire from it to your Elk for a 350CX, wire it into input 16 on your hard wired zones. I have just 1 350cx and it alerts me when any in the house go off. Don't forget the EOLR.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was wondering if this was a good price for the CX? It seems like everywhere else is about $60-$70 online. When something is significantly cheaper, it raises a red flag for me. Anybody had experience with these guys?

My friend bought some DSC EOLR there and they came loose in a ziplock bag and did not have the mfg sticker on them or the outer covering. He tried returning them and did not get an answer so he wound up complaining to his credit card company to reverse the charges. They were $7.50 each at the time.

Ordered some Sureshot PIR's from them. Still waiting for them to ship 3 days later. Not impressed with the service, but they had the best price by a lot.
