Glass Break detectors

Set them for 24 hour. This is what I've done with mine. If I'm home and the alarm isn't armed, but someone smashes a window in one of the back rooms, I want that alarm to go off.

The only downside to this is if you have kids with bags of Legos, dropping a bag of Legos on the floor sets them off. Great for testing though. :)

Thanks but my thought is if you are a new home owner and the lady of the house breaks a glass then the alarm goes off what going to pee her off more. or should it be left to the home owner to decied.

I've seen some glass breaks that won't go off unless they hear the sound AND they detect a pressure change. Mine are sound only, but you could get the pressure sensing ones to reduce the risk of a false alarm.

The other thing you could do is make the bedroom sensors 24hr, and the ones near the kitchen as burglar perimeter.
