HAI announces Borg Displays and CQC as partners...

This is, in all fairness, a self serving link but...

As I am now running sales for Borg and happen to run my own home (as well as a handful of 'pro' installs) with CQC, I thought it was cool that they were announced together.

Ah, so you are the guy behind the guy behind the guy who is pulling all the strings, eh? Another step in your nefarious plans to rule the universe....

It's cool, though, Dean. Once I do rule the universe, I'm gonna need to automate my Death Star. You, my friend, will be called into duty. Ridiculous helmet and all...

Automation Studio is still locked to the 5.7e and 10p.
Although, and correct me if I'm wrong, that this is only because HAI isn't releasing the .exe, right? There's nothing specific in the hardware that's required to run it, is there? Just curious...

Anthony,

The applications that run on the 5.7e and 10p are tailored to the specific hardware environment of each touchscreen (things like LED functionality, speaker, microphone, hard buttons, screen resolution, network connections, update mechanisms, etc.). At this time we are not prepared to develop and support versions that could run on other platforms.

This is grate although I can't find pricing anywhere. I have a ton of people that want touch screen but they have been out of reach for them if the price is right this may give us more hai momentium.

Jason, I sent you an email to the @programmergeek address but, I never got an email from you. Weird. Did it bounce by any chance?

fabriziojoe (and anyone else who's ineterested) please send me an email to Sales at BorgDisplays dot com (it would be helpful if you referenced Cocoontech) and I'll reply as soon as I get the message. Fair enough?

I got it. I was hoping you would be at ICS East next week and I could see some. Look good though and it is great they are a pc so they are just not a dumb pannel into the home automation system, Leaves so many more options open. I am intrested in the best price point you have to get people intrested so let me know when the priceing for the smaller units come out. The larger ones I still think people may shy away from expecally when they need 4 or 5 of them.
