Have you guys considered an enhancement to the C3 that would open/close a set of dry contacts depending on the state of the incoming POTS line? In other words, if the POTS line is down, close the contacts. If the POTS line is available, open the contacts. Or vice versa. The position of the dry contacts could be used to notify the security panel (which, I think, would always think the POTS line is available when using the C3) that the POTS line is down so that it could "react".
