HAI Console 33A00-1 vs newer 33A00-4?

Google couldnt help so thought I would ask here. What is the difference? I assume I can use an older -01 I have on a new system? Will I be missing out on something? (aside from microphone/speaker). Some sites are showing the -01 discontinued.

The -1 and -4 are identical except for the speaker and microphone.
The backplate for the -1 has the mountings for the speaker, it's just not there.
