HAI OMNI, 230vac, wireless (on/off) control.
I would like to connect some existing heated towel rails to a HAI omni controller, so that when a button is pressed (in the same room but opposite walls), the heated towel rails will come on for 2 hours.
I think I will be able to figure out the programming part of it but hardware is a bit difficult.
I live in New Zealand so we have 230vac at home, the other problem that I have is that this is an existing building and wiring, to most places it will not be an option to put new wiring.
I’m not sure if there are other options but, if I am correct some of the wireless options are Zigbee, Z-wave, RadioRa.
From some internet reading that I have done, I like the sound of RadioRA, because it appears that there could be less latency and it might be more reliable, but I’m not sure if it works with 230vac, also I’m trying to make the right decision and future proof the technology.
I’m not sure if this is the right location to be posting, but I’m really finding it hard to get information from HAI site and forums, I suspect that the more detailed technical integration might be in their support web sites, but it appears to only be opened to “Dealers, Distributors, and Developers” there is possibly a cost to it.
I would appreciate it if I could have your input/experiences with this.
