HAI Omni IIe Electric Deadbolt- Help Please.

Thanks in advance for any help this community can provide. I have an electric deadbolt installed at my front entry which I'd like to control via my Omni board. There are no control lines running from the bolt, so my only option is to control the power to the unit. The bolt is normally closed and draws 900mA, which is too much for either the on board outputs or my HAI relay. Thus, I'd like to configure my system so that one of the outputs, either on the Omni board or the relay, controls a supply directly powering the bolt. Perhaps a higher voltage, externally powered relay exists that could provide the simplest solution, but I am open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks,

HAI has two relay boards intended to be controlled by HAI outputs. Example is
10A07-1
which has 4 relays (they also have an 8-relay version). Each can switch 5amps for 24vdc. Assuming your lock is DC, then this is more than enough.

When set to "on", the HAI board output triggers the relay (closes the normally open leg). The relay switches power (12 or 24v depending on your lock, which you need to get separately) to your lock.

I have done this on Omni Pro2, but it should be the same on the 2e.

Thanks for the advice. I purchased a 12V power supply and wired it into the relay circuit. Everything works like a charm now,
