On an HAI omnipro II panel the internal horn circuit was inadvertantly shorted when wiring. The sounder appears to be constantly energized now regardless of the panel state and despite an eeprom reset. Is the internal sounder circuit fried? Any sort of reset or easy work around? Currently I am using the external horn circuit with a short delay. Can the Int circuit drive 2 horns if total draw is less than 1 amp?

Thanks ;)

I am not an HAI pro and still learning but wondering if you unplugged the board (battery and AC), unhooked the horn from terminals, powered up board and put a voltmeter to exterior horn outputs and seeing 12VDC on the voltmeter?

I have 6 interior horns and they work fine. As long as the total draw of both interior/exterior is not more than 1Amp you are fine.
If the draw is over 1Amp then I would use an external power supply from Altronix.
