Hai Omnistat2 Question

I am thinking about getting the Omnistat2 and was wondering. Since it gets its power from the C. And doesn't have any batteries. Does it retain the Time on a Power Failure?  I would be hooking it up to a omni LTE panel. Will it set its clock from the Omni? day light savings? and such?

If it's hooked to a controller it acts as a repeater for the controller time.
