HAI Onmi Pro II new install Advice Needed

I am an custom audio/video installer with a good idea of the industry. I have worked with many different security panels in the past and I am looking for some advice on a HAI Omni Pro II system that I have bought from a customer. It is in full working condition and comes with the 45A00-1 Wireless receiver. It is hard these days to get set up with a distributor in this area since HAI was bought by Leviton and get what I would consider good prices for the HAI branded wireless accessories.

What I am looking for is advice on what I should do, of course looking at the cheapest way. Is there another wireless accessory company out there that will work with the HAI receiver? Am I just as well to wire the system? If I did wire it would I be able to use wired PIRs and Glassbreaks from any company?

Thanks in advance for the advice/

Welcome to the forum Steakknife.

Here I have two models of the HAI wireless receivers (45A00-1 and 42A00-2) an one GE Interlogix branded one.

I think that the 42A00-2 is a rebranded GE Interlogix.

The above said you can go with an GE Interlogix branded receiver.  I am not sure which model I have.

Personally here my preference is to wire and use wired sensors.

That said though many folks here are using the HAI wireless receivers combined with their wired stuff.

Contact Worthington Distribution to get set up with a dealer account.

The HAI Wireless receiver is proprietary, so you must use HAI wireless transmitters.
The Omni Pro II also has the option of using a GE compatible wireless receiver to use a wider array of products.  (but you already have the HAI version).

Wired hookup is preferable in my opinion.  Wireless is also more spendy.
The OmniPro II will accept anything that has a dry contact closure, standard magenet-reed switch alarm contacts, 12VDC glass breaks, 12VDC motions, etc.
It will also accept open collector outputs.

Use 1K EOL resistors.  You can select the option not to use EOLs, but that may present problems later if you add something that requires them.
That option is global, either all zones use EOLs or none do.

Yup the

1 - HAI 45A00-1 works with HAI branded devices
The Model 45A00-1 Supervised Wireless Receiver is compatible with HAI Wireless Transmitters. These transmitters include
the 46A00-1 Door/Window Transmitter, 47A00-1 Quad Pet Immune Motion Detect or, 48A00-1 4 Button Keyfob, 49A00-1
Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector, and 50A00-1 Panic/Alert Pendant.

2 - HAI 42A00-2 works with GE/Interlogix devices.
The Model 42A00-2 Supervised Wireless Receiver is compatible with all 319.5 MHz GE Security (a.k.a. ITI or Interlogix) and Caddx (crystal or SAW) Learn ModeTM63-bit wireless transmitters. This receiver is not compatible with 80-bit wireless transmitters.

The HAI version also accepts the 63A00-1 Wireless Driveway Sensor, 56A00-1 Recessed transmitter, 57A00-1 Vanishing Contact and the 58A00-1 Mini Wireless contact.

The 46A00-1 Door/Window Transmitter is actually a 3 zone device.
You can wire inexpensive standard contacts to it and it will transmit all 3 zones indepently.
