Are the blue LEDs in HAI switches supposed to be slightly different colors between the different switch types? I have one that looks purple (load controller), some blue ones (dimmers), one that has a very faint light output (this is a dimmer too), etc. Maybe I have some bad units?

Have you ever gone into UpStart and played with those switches? You can change the LED color on dimmers/switches from Blue to Red to Magenta. On the one where the LED is dim, you can swap it for a known good one and see if the LED brightness changes do determine if it is the devices or the supply voltage.
