HAI Video Server & iPhone

Does anyone have the HAI Video Server? What would you need to see the feed on the iPhone?

In an ideal world, I'm looking for a solution that I can record video on motion, then playback or watch the feed through my iPhone and TV's around the house.

I'm also looking to create an event that on "front door bell ring", any tv that is on will automatically switch to the front door camera. Is that possible?

Any help would be appreciated. I haven't bought any cameras or the Video Server, but have an OmniproII, so open to any solutions you have. I also have on order the 5.7e touchscreen.

Thanks!

Ok,

HAI Video Server does work on the Iphone, I tested it out myself. You need to add a bookmark for each camera feed (1-4).

Watching it through the TV's... I'm honestly not quite sure. I'm sure that there is something to take analog cameras (which is what you really have), and put it onto the coax. The tougher part would be automatically switching the TV to the correct channel/input when the doorbell rings. You could use a combination of HAI HTX/Omni/Touchscreens to accomplish it.

HTX would send the IR codes to the TV. The 5.7e would actually be used to send the IR codes to the HTX, and the Omni would be connected to the Front door bell via a zone, and it would trigger everything off.

I haven't tried it on my iphone but I have one and I inject it in my cable line witha BOCS Extender. It is relatively inexpensive and allows for two other inputs and control. Their website is: www.bocsco.com/yourway/ I am no affiliated with this company I am just a customer. I hope this helps.
