Haiku Haiku - External Access

I am having an issue with Haiku not working from my ipad over the air card. I created two controllers in Haiku one to use when connected to the lan and the other to connect when i am away from home. The lan connection works fine but I can’t get the external connection to work at all. I have a Cisco ASA firewall at home which has logging and I can’t see the Haiku app hitting the firewall. If i put my home ip in the Safari browser i can see it hitting the firewall and I can also ping the firewall with a app I have on the iPad so I know the iPad can communicate. I work in the IT field and work on Cisco products daily so I know I am not doing something wrong with that side. I should see the Haiku app trying to connect in the Cisco log viewer but it never does, any suggestions?

How are you entering the address? Do not prefix with http://

Try telnet to port 4369 on the external ip as a test.

Looks like Verizon blocks ports I have tested a handfull of ports and can only get 22,23,80,443 to go out on my iPad. Does anyone have an iPad working externaly with a internal Verizon 3g air card? Worst case I can port forward from an open port to 4369.

Got it working with the port forward its a shame Verizon blocks so many ports. I have a static ip address on my Verizon cell (corporate setup) and even that has the same ports blocked. I am going to call Verizon since I paid to get static ip's for my users devices and they should not be blocking ports on a static setup.
