Has anyone tried the EnvisaLink 3 with a DSC alarm board?

I want to use a Homeseer + DSC Power series.  would the Envisalink conflict or be redundant?

I have a DSC 1832 and an EVL3 card.
 
No, you cannot program the DSC through the EVL card, you get only basic keypad functionality from the web interface (arm, disarm, activate PGM etc etc).
 
No idea how homeseer works with the EVL card, I use Vera and it integrates with the EVL3 AND the EVL3 works on its own (stand alone notification on alarm etc).

I have a DSC PC1864 with a EVL3 board.  It's pretty great and I thoroughly enjoy using it.  It can tell the status of each zone, even when the alarm is armed in STAY or AWAY modes, any and all trouble, zone followers, etc.
 
There is a full-webpage portal and a mobile portal for your smartphone.  It's super easy to install with little to no configuration steps as the DSC panel automatically supervises it as a PC5400.  You can configure it to set your system clock daily...
 
As Mugwug already pointed out, no you cannot program your panel with the EVL3 and DLS5.
