When you tap a button five times in rapid succession, the top led should start blinking.
If you are getting good on off click sounds with each press, and you are doing it rapidly and it's still not working, you may have to send it to SA for service.
If the LED does flash, then you have some kind of commas issue which is more difficult to track down.
