Nathan (nmcbride), please read this reply very carefully.
I don’t know exactly what your hidden agenda is, but you will find that:
- Our Forum Members do not take kindly to members that are not up front with us, especially vendors or anyone associated with one.
- The CocoonTech Staff is “smarter than your average bear”.
I have been carefully watching all of your posts since you joined our forum and in doing so, find some disturbing trends.
In a recent ‘Hot Deals’ thread you posted the following:
I found that Absolute Automation is offering a 10% discount on any order over $200 if you simply like them on Facebook. It worked for me. They don't sell a lot of the home automation hardware but they do carry Sensaphone products and a bunch of driveway alarm systems etc.
Then created a thread about Sensaphone’s which had the following post:
Hi all, I'm looking at installing a Sensaphone 400 as both a freeze alarm and a very basic security/automation panel at my cottage. I know this is a simple system compared to the Elk etc. units but I was wondering if anyone could think of a reason this was a bad idea? It's inexpensive, I can still wire multiple motion sensors etc. to the unit (just run them in series so I can use one input on the 400 for multiple sensors) plus it will give me accurate temp readings and with the relay output I can toggle my heating/cooling system between thermostats remotely.
Also I'm looking at buying it from Absolute Automation has anyone had any experience dealing with them? I've called their tech support and they seem decent, especially compared to some other support I've talked to.
Thanks.
Nathan
Followed by
this thread where you mask yourself as a person wanting advice on a business, but failed to mention it was for Absolute Automation.
You also authored this reply to a post:
Hi Pete_C, do you know the part numbers for your Optex pieces? I've used some of their exterior photo-electric sensors before with a lot of success -
http://www.absolutea...com/photobeams/ - I purchased them here. Also for dos46 I've called
Absolute Automation before with any part numbers from Optex and they've been able to get me a quote for the pieces.
In my opinion you were trying to mask the original intentions of your posts with the purpose of generating revenue for a business.
CocoonTech has fantastic relationships with the many outstanding vendors that represent themselves here on our forums and we welcome vendors with open arms, but we will not tolerate false representation because of our concern of protecting our members from these types of tainted postings.
I’m not going to ban you or adjust your profile or forum privileges in any way; but, if I see you posting ANYTHING for the next two weeks (including a reply to this thread) the CocoonTech Staff will seek alternative actions.
Also, you need to include in your profile your association with Absolute Automation per our forum rules obtaining to vendors.
If you wish to use CocoonTech as an advertising means for your business, please contact us for details on our very reasonable advertising rates.
