How many watts does the Z-wave radio operate on?

Hi

i'm trying to see if Z-wave frequency is legal in my country and what are the restrictions. I know the range (100m) but part of the specifications that would be considered is the wattage equivalent = transmission power (?)  . Im not too familiar w/ this.

Less than 1W guaranteed, most devices are more likely to be around the 1mW mark, but it depends on the device.

The range is -20dbm to 0dbm... so .01 mW to 1mW. As thelostswede said it depends on the manufacturer/device, and also what mode it is operating in.
