How to go about setting up a magnetic lock to enage only during certain hours?

I am looking into adding a magnetic door lock to three doors (something like this).

How would I go about setting it up, so that it will not lock during certain hours, but then will engage not during those hours?

I also would want to have a PIN pad so then when it is locked, I can bypass it by punching in the pin code.

Thanks

ARe you looking to purchase a controller for this timed operation? One that integrates with a keypad or are you looking to integrate with a new/existing security system (and use those keypads)?

One thing you will also want to insure is a system to cut the power to the locks in the event of a fire or emergency.

Easiest would be an electrified handleset, something like a SABL or similar, otherwise you're really looking at an access control panel, scalable or not would be your choice, and the related hardware, contacts for the DPS, a REX or some sort and an emergency egress button to physically kill power, in addition to a fire alarm dropout.

I wouldn't recommend mags to someone that isn't familiar with an alarm or what is required, because if you do them wrong, you could kill someone in an emergency situation.

Commercial is more stringent than residential generally speaking, more life safety codes involved.

The original statement stands by myself however, I can not recomment a mag to anyone that isn't familiar with the whole gambit of what needs to be installed and/or implemented to have a safe install.

You can, however install electric strikes depending on your other door hardware, but you're going to need a decent amount of hardware and controller to get the whole thing to work.
