Newbie question.
I am planning on installing a z-wave based home automation setup for lighting but would also like to add some z-wave based motion detectors to my security system which is an Ademco Vista 15P. I assume there is a device out there that can act as a Z-Wave device (node?) and allow me associate the detector to it so motion detected could trigger an alarm. Ideally, this device would behave as multiple Z-Wave devices so I could add more than one motion detector.
Does such a device exist or am I way off base?
