What will the Homeseer software do that the Houselinc software wont do? Is it just the remote access capability that Homeseer has?

I'm pretty sure that HomeSeer will do a lot of other things that HouseLinc won't do. I don't own HomeSeer (way too pricey for my needs), but I believe it is capable of controlling more than just Insteon. They have a lot of add-ons available, although each add-on costs more money. I recommend checking out their website for more immediate info. Of course I'm sure there's a bunch of HomeSeer users here that would be happy to answer this and any other questions you have.

For less money than Homeseer and more features than HouseLinc, take a look at PowerHome.

Are there any programs that have a comparable interface as Indigo? PowerHome's interface isn't all that user-friendly. At least it doesn't look it.

Looking at the web page, Indigo looks a lot like HomeSeer. I have never used HS, so my comments are based on being an outsider. B)
