Yesterday I lost power for a few minutes. at 11:14 I show a telephone fault (vonage) because I lost power to my adapter, and then at 11:16 I show a ethernet fault (which I would haev expected also at 11:14 because they are both not on batteries. Then also at 11:16 I show a ethernet restored and phone restored. but no AC trouble..... am I just reading into this too much? 2 min on batteries and the system did not know it was on batteries?

There is a programmable delay time for AC failure reporting. It's value is set under the System Communicator Reporting codes. It was probably set longer than your AC failure.
