ISY99i + Elk

Is there a way to skip over device numbers within the ISY-99i?

I am trying to use Insteon/X10 for my lights and Zwave for the thermostats, I need to leave the first 5 devices empty within ELK since those are my thermostats.

There is no way to do it from the gui.

I think there is a way to do it if you open the ISY export file and manually edit it. I have no idea how to actually do it (or truthfully if it is possible). Try posting on the ISY board.

Check out this thread on ISY forum. It looks like you just have to manually edit it. The trick is that if you make changes to your setup and re-export to Elk you will have to make sure you manually redo it the same or Elk will be turning on the wrong stuff. http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtop...p?p=39972#39972

I suggest you redo your "A" codes to "P" which will open up all 16 of the A's for your other stuff and will be the least likely to conflict with your regular export file unless you go over 240 devices/scenes on ISY.
