Haiku Keypad doesn’t pop up when entering

The numeric keypad is no longer popping up after entering the house when the alarm is set. I’ve verified that “keypad mode” is enabled. Is there another setting that could be preventing the display of the keypad?

Have you changed the entry time on the controller perhaps? If so, you will need to Clear Cache from the top right action button in the About tab in Haiku.

Under what conditions should the keypad actually pop up?

I had cleared the cache and was running a quick test…I had set the area to away and allowed it to activate, and was intending to reenter through an entry/exit door but instead managed to set off the alarm by entering through a perimeter zone. The keypad popped up when the alarm went off. My expectation is that the keypad should also pop up when reentering the house through the usual entry/exit zone to allow you to disable the alarm (I’m 95% sure it worked this way when I first starting using Haiku).

Should the keypad only pop up when the alarm is triggered? Or should it also pop up when an entry/exit zone is tripped?

Ensure you have the latest version of Haiku installed. I've tested here and it seems to be popping up just fine upon using an entry/exit zone when the system is fully armed.

Try clearing the cache, then select the Status tab. Let it finish refreshing (spinner should stop spinning in the top status bar). Then run the test by arming, waiting for the count down to complete and then opening an entry zone. It's possible that Haiku did not yet load the new entry timer values when you ran the tests. Clearing the cache simply invalidates it, but the new values would only be read in when you go into a tab that displays the area info, such as Status, Security, etc.

I’ve followed your instructions, we usually leave the different devices on the Status tab. Still no key pop up on any of the iPads when entering through an entry zone.

Are you popping up any any camera or anything like that as well? If some other popup is on screen then the keypad may not be displayed.

No other pop-ups.

You’ve mentioned “entry time” and “entry timer values” a couple times now. Is this the “Arming: Entry Delay” value in PC Access setup? Is there a relationship between this value and the keypad pop-up in Haiku?

In Haiku > Status > top left book button > Edit > your controller : do you have Local Area set to anything or is it blank?

Are you using an OmniPro II with built in security?

Does the device running Haiku beep every second when waiting for disarm (even though the keypad does not appear)?
