LARGE UPB INSTALL

In Augusta, a home with the lower two floors all UPB. A mixture of PCS and SA are used. 7 switch panels and multiple transmitters throughout. Actually went smoothly with the split phase repeater installed. 5 breaker panels and communication reports levels at only 30 lesters for all units. I assume the signal is stronger than that because there was very little difference b/w phases and all comm tests were running through the SPR. There was noise from the pool pump which is an Intella Flow variable speed 240v pump. We will filter it even though it was far enough removed that it didn't seem to hinder communication.
All in all I am very excited about how clean everything looked and the performance matched expectations. As time goes by, I'll let you know if anything fails or becomes unstable.

Gutsy choice of SA in that large of an install. I'm impressed.

The interchangable faceplates added a bunch of flexibility. I do business through Web Mtn so they are GenII. So really, not any more gutsy than others. The electricians were pretty blown away. They were ready to see it work. Still working out some details but we got most functional with scenes in two days. It does make me want to pursue more installs like this but finding the right customer was the hard part. Actually the construction was a three year process and the PCS units were bought right when the adoption of Gen II took place.

OK, that makes more sense. I personally don't view Web Mtn's gear as SA (Hi Terry and Gary!). The distinction is not a fine one.

I will get some pics soon. My guy in Augusta has some more units to add. Looks like it will be over 200 units. The homeowners are moving in the next couple of weeks. So lamp mods and a few other devices will be incorporated.

You are sooooo right about Web Mtn being a pleasure to work with. They have been incredible. I'll post more when I can. Thanks for the encouragement.
