Leviton/HAI UPB Device Status Register

Does anybody have any information on what is stored in the Device Status Register for Leviton/HAI switches? The PCS protocol documentation indicates that this is a one byte (eight bit) register and the value stored in this register will vary from device to device.  Thus, the protocol document is not very helpful.

I'm specifically interested in the 35A00-1 600W Dimmer switch and the 35A00-3 600W Non Dimmable switch.

TIA for any info offered.

I have some of those installed, if dumping a few registers would help.  I haven't looked in to this at all though, so don't know of any documentation.

The issue isn't really dumping the registers.    The issue is how to interpret what is in this register.  It's one byte in size, 8 bits.  What do these bits or combination of bits mean?
My interpretation of the UPB protocol leads me to believe that the device manufacturer determines what info is to be kept in this register.  Thus, it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I'd submit a request to Leviton tech support for this info.  But from past experience, that would be a total waste of time.  I guess I must be on their "blacklist".

A quote from the UPB protocol document..

Device Command and Status Registers
Each device in the UPB System Model shall have an 8-bit Device Command Register and an 8-bit
Device Status Register. Special UPB Messages are available in the Core Message Set to write the
Device Command Register and to read the Device Status Register. It is left up to the individual device
manufacturer as to what these two registers are used for on their device.
