I am trying to find Z-Wave switches that I can use for 3 switch (4-way) and 4 switch (5-way) circuits, but keep running into dead ends. I don't have the option of adding new wiring. I do have neutrals in all switch boxes. I thought I might be able to use Leviton VZ00R-1L matching dimmer remotes since the specs (http://www.smarthome...ing-switch.aspx) say "for use with Vizia RF dimming wall switches". However, when you read the instructions (http://www.leviton.c...&minisite=10026), the top section says "Cat. No. VZØØR-1L, Matching Dimmer Remote (For use with Vizia devices only)" and the section titled "4-Way Wiring with Matching Remote (w/LEDs) Application" says "NOTE: Matching remotes are for use with non RF devices only." Can anyone confirm that a "matching remote (w/LEDs)" cannot be used with Leviton Z-wave switches? Can I only use a "coordinating remote (no LEDs)?
Any other recommendations for Z-wave dimmer switches for 4-way and 5-way circuits that have conventional wiring? I ran into a dead-end with the HomeSetting HA14C because of the need for an "additional wire" (http://www.smarthome...A14C-manual.pdf). It looks like the CA3000 also needs an additional wire and isn't dimmable (http://www.smarthome...3000-Manual.pdf). It appears that the GE/Jasco might be an option (http://www.jascoprod...ual-English.pdf), but the 45610 auxiliary switches don't appear to be for sale.
Thanks for any advice.
