M1G Sending Temp Sensor values

The M1G can send temp sensor values to the keypad, but sadly, it cannot send it as an email which would be highly useful to provide temp readings when you are away. While temp sensors can be tested for a given value, and a rule can then send a fixed email, this does not provide real temp info for a remote user. Does anyone know if ELK is considering adding the capability to send temp readings via email? It would be nice to either be able to embed the actual temp sensor reading into the otherwise fixed email string or alternatively provide the ability to select a text string that contains the embedded temp sensor reading and send it as the email message.

That's an overwhelming limitation of the Elk's XEP module - it can't do anything dynamically with the emails.

Most people have used some form of 3rd party software to accomplish this... Elve is $99 for the intro; Premise is free; there are some others... the drawback is that you have to run another computer somewhere to handle this.
