Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone has ever opened up a LM-15 Screw-in lamp module from X-10?
Its the cheapest type of 'output' availabe from X10, and I want to hack it open, and use it as a relay output essentially.
Once opened, I will utilise a 220VAC coil relay, and it becomes a potential free contact. Everything will be enclosed in a compact little box for safety.
In South Africa these screw-in modules are R100 ($12.50), where as the potential free contact modules are R250 ($31). So, if I can come right by hacking this module cleanly / neatly, it can be used for many different things in and around the home.
Your comments / opinions are welcome!
Cheers,
Jared
