Howdy all,
I've never touched the security stuff, so I thought I'd ask what should be a simple question...
I have a Honeywell keypad that I need to move literally a few inches from it's current location to make room for an iPod wall dock. I've pulled the panel off the wall, so I see the 4-wire screw connections. I need to disconnect them to pull through a new hole in the wall - do I need to do anything to the system? Pull power on the panel? disconnect the keypad wires at the panel first, etc? I haven't studied the inside of the panel much to even know if it's easy to disconnect power!
(that's what I get for hanging out in the Home Theater forums and not dabbling in security...)
Thanks in advance,
Jeff
