New Smart Caddie UPMC, HA friendly?

PBJ launched an update version of their UMPC product, with specs which seem to make it HA very friendly. I especially like the docking station setup:

I saw that one also this morning. On close examination, the craddle has what looks like a 15 pin VGA connector. I wonder how much trouble it will be to dock/undock!

Why can't someone just make a charging craddle for these things similar to the Harmony remotes?

I found a Japanese spec sheet on this, and the cradle looks to have a "standard" laptop/docking station connector.
