guy - sorry I missed some posts - but glad you got it all working to your satisfaction! I've been using SA switches for about 4 years or so now, and I think they're great - reliability has been excellent for me.

i actually haven't had a failure on the equipment since I switched over to the new version and i've run 1000s of tests, it's handy having a extra computer that upstart is running on

Good to know. I have an extra controller just for programming and monitoring (my spare, too).

Only way to roll! I couldn't imagine having to keep moving them around when I need to program something. One for Elve, One for the Elk, and one for the RUC, which I can run Upstart against.
