Hi,
Just thought I'd finally introduce myself. I've been lurking on Cocoontech on and off for the last year and a half gathering ideas and familiarizing myself with home automation. Now that we're settled into the new house and ready to take on another project, I finally took the plunge last week and bought a bunch of UPB switches and an Elk M1G. I've never really done home automation but I'm really looking forward to getting going. My background is in computer science and my career has taken me to general computer system implementation/consulting work. I'm pretty used to changing technologies and reading manuals so hopeful this will be enough to get going in home automation.
Anyhow, I really find Coccoontech a great resource and I'd just like to say a big thank you to the people who post regularly to help others out! (as well as providing for some good reading for lurkers :huh
