New version of Vizia RF installer tool - crashes

Anyone using the latest version? The software crashes whenever I click on any of my zwave nodes. Reinstalled the last version and it works. The Leviton forums are really slow in answering anything. It is so highly moderated that nothing's gets posted without review. SJ

What modules are you using? I know the Evolve plug-in dimmers are having a problem crashing but all of my other modules are fine. Using Leviton, Home auto, and Schlage devices.

I was on the phone to Automated Outlet about problems with my zwave network and Yale lock. He suggested I try the new version of the Installer Tool also. Same problem here. Will work with the lock OK, but to click on any dimmers results in force close. I had already deleted version 1.1.0.0 so could not go back to fix. At this time I would not install v 1.1.1.0.

I wouldn't go as far as not installing it. It will allow you to add the nodes just fine. After that you really don't use the installer tool for much else. It's not really for controlling the network, more for configuring it.
My Evolve dimmers that crash the Installer tool can still be controlled from my OPII just fine, plus my BE469 Schlage locks are working perfectly with it and that's reason enough to upgrade in my eyes.

I think they forgot about testing before release. It does have lock control which works fine. Not sure that was in the last release. What annoys me is their discussion forum. Responses don't happen or take weeks. Half the time they don't even allow my posts to go through. SJ

SJHArt:
I have the dame problem with the new version. I do not the old version install package.
Is it something that you could post so that I could download it?
Thanks in advance.

They know about the problem. New fix is due out in September. You can do all set up just fine, but cannot control the devices (i.e. turn light on and off). You can however control the locks.

Can anyone of you post a link to the previous version, please? I am currently dead in the water because of this problem and I never kept a copy of the old install package (silly me...).
Thanks for any assistance

Alcides Hernandez with tech support at Leviton was kind enough to mail me version 1.1.0.3 which works. If anybody needs it, please respond to this post.

Patricesicaud:  I would greatly appreciate a copy.  Ever since I updated my Yale Lock won't work so I want to try reinstalling with the new software but it keeps crashing

I didn't see this thread. Please see my post today. Yes Leviton support responsiveness does not match level of technology investment IMHO. When you have 20-30 >$60 switches that are not serving their intended purpose, taking more than one-month to fix problems is not good customer service. Releasing a product that crashes every few button clicks is less than ideal. For me, I cannot rollback to older RFIT version. They should have immediately pulled the product (still available on Website); provided free older VRUSB+3 sticks, and provided priority support to help with all the wasted days of time I have been troubleshoot their problems.

Why have forums when posts are not answered (or even approved). In addition, the answers (if answered) seemed to be canned/politically correct and are not very technically detailed. I have 2-3 posts that I spent 20-30m writing/editing to make them clear; they were never approved. Maybe Leviton is questioning its investment in Z-Wave. The RF Installer Toolkit updates have been slow. They haven't released any switch or outlet that supports beaming (you have to use dimmer plugin).
