Dude thats one of my favorite bits. Its https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobitobi.android.gentlealarm (Gentle Alarm). Tasker plugin works like a champ. When Tasker sees it dismissed, it calls a CQC URL which takes over and does the announcement.

The https://www.amazon.com/PLX-Devices-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Android/dp/B016X3L0O2/ref=cm_rdp_product is a pretty cool idea. I have a very expensive Cobb Access Port ODBII Tuner, but I don't keep in car due to theft concerns. I do like being able to see all the different car parameters instead of dummy gauges. Is the PLX reliable.

oh yeah. I leave it in the car 24x7 since the kiwi 3 is low power BT, and OBD is pretty damn hidden under the dash/steering column area. Hence I can just use tasker to autostart it and always fetch latest fuel level.
