No alarm after entry delay expired

I have installed an Elk M1G and am having problems with activating output one after the entry delay has expired. It is configured with six keypads, four Burg zones configured for type 01 entry/exit and one instant zone. Arm system, exit delay starts and exit premises. Upon entering premises entry delay starts and countdowns to zero with no alarm. If I open and close the door entry delay restarts and alarm will sound after this second delay expires. Interior motion configured for type 03 instant, activates alarm output instantly. No rules have been configured. Has anyone seen this condition?

How long are you waiting before re-entering? The system is not armed until after the EXIT delay expires, so if you re-enter during the EXIT delay then no alarm will sound(usually an error condition by default). The alarm will only sound if the EXIT delay has expired, then a zone violated, then the ENTRY delay.

You probably had Exit 2 timer still running when you entered. If you are not using an entry door with exit 2 timer, set exit 2 timer the same as exit 1 timer and your issue should go away.

I will set exit 2 timer (currently at 60) to match entry 1 (currently at 30) to match and give this a try. This is not something I have noticed or had to do on my other installations (approximately 20) before. This is a job in progress and I plan on retuning Tuesday to finish the install, which will define a new zone for Entry/Exit timer 2 for the overhead garage doors. Shouldn't entry/exit one be independent of 2 or does this only happen when no zones have been defined in the panel as 02- entry/exit two.
