Nuvo IR Learning Station

I have an older Technics Receiver that I am using for one of my Nuvo Essentia E6G sources. I am wondering if anyone has a Nuvo IR Learning Station and if a remote can be programmed offsite. Then send the .gcl file to me. If this is possible, would anyone would be willing to program the remote for this source? I could ship the remote anywhere (and pay for the return and of course... your time).

Thanks so much.

If no luck here, RAldridge, try posting the question at remotecentral.com Custom Installers Lounge forum.

Does it have to be learned by the Nuvo unit...can't you capture the code using a USB-UIRT or something else and then enter that into the Nuvo main unit?

Possibly. Can a USB-UIRT create an .irc file for a remote? I think I can rename an .irc file to .gcl for importing into Nuvo.

All you need is the hex. I use an RTI learning station and then copy the hex for each command into the configurator software.
