I'm installing a Networx NX-8v2 system in my house.
Before I wired up all of the sensors, I thought I would power up the alarm and put the resistors (3.3k?) that came with the panel on all eight zones. But the key panel beeps continuously when I power it up. I thought maybe it was because I don't have the phone hooked up (we just use our cell phones and are not initially going to monitor). I got into program mode with the LCD keypad and cleared "1", "2" and "6" from location 39 (keypad sounder control), but this didn't solve the problem. Do I need to put a resistor on smoke? Any other suggestions?
By the way, I have wired up the NX-548e wireless expander as I am wiring up what I can and then going wireless with the rest.
