Omni fun and questions

I've been bench testing the Omni Pro before installing.
Got PC Access for Installers software and I think I have it somewhat figured out.  The power seems to be in the "automation" tab where one can create lots of fun macros.
Also go the SnapLink iOS App working, kind of cool on the surface.

So some newb questions:

In test mode, I have it calling my cell phone on alarm.  It says "Burglary at "  SCRATCHY SCRATCHY SCRATCHY sound.  Almost like a bad MP3 file.
How do I change the scratchy sound to an actual message?
When I subscribe to an actual monitoring service, how do I configure this?

The SnapLink software interface is what it is.  Seems to work, although the cameras section is VERY limited and I can't see any of my IP cameras.
What is this Bitwise GUI stuff?  Can I download an editor to build my own GUI?  Leviton asks too many questions and I feel they only want to talk to big dealers.
If not, what do you use to create cool iPad or iPhone interfaces to your Omni?   And I hope I don't have to buy more hardware.

Next up...playing with light switches.   I'll probably have more questions.

Did you record your address into the system? Instead of the default SCRATCHY blank message?

With a monitoring system active. The digital dialer will call the monitoring company first. Then the dialer will dial the numbers in the PCAccess file with the proper message. But that may interrupt the monitoring company attempting to reach you.

Can't recommend an iOS app anymore. The go to app has really gone south and it's "upgrade" wasn't.

Use HLC from the outset and your lighting config will be much easier.

I'll check the address in settings.
I remember reading that the unit waits a bit of time (after calling the central monitoring) before calling any others in case they (monitoring service) are trying to reach you.

So far, the iOS app is okay.   Not fun or cool.   I would love fun and cool interfaces like those in forum above.

Playing with this think I'm starting to "get it".   The outputs seem to have lots of potential.  The "automation" scripts also have a lot of potential.
I really need to write a Newb document that explains this stuff for new comers.   It's not that complicated, but the docs are zil to nilch out there.
