Onkyo receiver is having sound issues

Well my Onkyo receiver is having sound issues. It seems that this model is having these issues and usually occurs after the 2 year warrenty is up. The repair bills are said to be in the hundreds. So it looks like I am out of luck.  I decided to purchase a Pioneer SC-1222K after reading how much trouble the new Onkyo and Denon's are. NewEgg is having a great sale on this model. It comes next week.
